Programming:
Programming of Satel radio modems is completely menu driven
and very simple to perform through a variety of methods. Complete details of
radio programming are intricately covered in our
manual.
All Satel radio modems may utilize a programming adapter
and SaTerm configuration software to access the communication settings and
special features, however this is not required on models with a display. Display
models are configurable using the buttons and displayed menu, as well as with
the programming adapter.
In a typical configuration, the programming adapter is
connected to a power supply, the radio modem and a PC by way of a standard
RS-232 serial cable.

This lightweight,
easy to use program allows complete configuration of a single modem, or an
entire network. SaTerm also includes additional tools for addressing,
viewing data flow, updating modem firmware, testing, and others.
