Application Helpline

Using and implementing Satel radio modems is intended to be easy, and we provide extensive assistance getting started with Satel radio modems to ensure that your experience with them is pleasant.

Most difficulties users encounter are either related to proper connection and configuration of connected devices, or the proper connection and positioning of antennas or repeaters.

Many common installation and interface issues are addressed in our Support section. If you do not find the answers you are looking for in there, calling us at (408) 973-1740 will get you fast answers.

To clearly understand the problems or concerns you have, we encourage completing the following Application Assistance form. You may also want to make sure that you have the Latest Software for the radio modem in case you believe you may be experiencing a "bug".

For critical applications we offer onsite services in addition to phone and email support.

Modem Software Updates

As modem software updates become available they are posted here for free download. Updates are installed with our normal programming tools.

 

These updates may be issued to increase functionality, add SL commands, gather additional diagnostic data, correct problems, changes in physical hardware, or for other reasons.

 

Generally, there is no need to update the software of a radio modem if it is already in service. Please contact us if you have any questions about the contents of any updates or for a quick walk thru of how to update a radio modem.
